  • Research synthesis for policy and practice (dates This module will develop your understanding of the strengths and limitations of a range of approaches to synthesising literature and help you evaluate the role played by systematic reviews within evidence-informed decision-making.   • Participative research and policy (dates) At the end of this module you will have explored methods for improving the fit between research and collective or individual actions, and have a critical understanding of mechanisms for supporting policy maker, practitioner and public involvement in research. Options (60 credits required)

You will be able to select from a range of optional modules, including:

  • Methods for research synthesis (dates) This module will equip you with an understanding of the theory, aims and practicalities of a range of qualitative and quantitative approaches to research synthesis, from narrative reviews and meta-ethnography to statistical meta-analysis. Further details

Dissertation (60 credits required)

Students prepare a dissertation for submission by early September.
