Hello,

I am trying to upload a file with 849 Cochrane references from my desktop into a review with 1745 Medline references already in it. The funny thing is previously this same Cochrane file was exported out of EndNote as a RIS file and loaded into its own review in EPPI. Now when I try to import into EPPI for a second time I get an error message saying the file is too large, try safe upload mode. I selected that and it did start then I got an error message "DataPortal.Update failed," screen shot below. Please advise. Thanks, Rebecca

Hello Rebecca,

I will assume that the RIS file is OK because you were able to upload it previously into a different review.

The file doesn't sound very big or the review very large so I don't think that should be a problem either.

Are you getting the error every time that you try to upload the file? Would you be able to try once more for us? If you still get the error could you then email us the file (eppisupport@ioe.ac.uk) and let us know the review name. We can then have a closer look.

I'm happy to report that I was able to import the file with no problem today so all is well.
