Problems Importing RIS files

Hello,

I'm trying to import some RIS files and I'm facing the following problems:

1) One of my files is supposed to contain 2007 refs, however, when upload, ER finds only 1196 new refs. It also happens with an RIS from a different database containing 1000 refs, but ER only finds 1 new item. I'm now trying to upload another file from a third database, and it seems that the software is working, but no refs are ever uploaded. The weird thing is that I have tried uploading RIS from the same databases before with no problems. Is this possibly an ER problem? Or could it be my internet conection? How many refs can ER handle at a time?

Hello Dafni,

I would suspect there is an issue with that RIS file. Perhaps it is corrupt or it may not actually be in RIS file. If you email it to us at eppisupport@ioe.ac.uk I can have a look at it.

I have te impression that I was able to upload files like this before. I'll try again now and if not working I'll send te files to eppisupport. Thanks!
