Hello,

I have a question related to reports. When I run reports, the information that I've put in the code doesn't seem to be included for 'main codes'. I'll explain:

My 'data extraction: research study' code set includes a code called 'Intervention', this is a tick-box option + you put information about the intervention into 'info'. A sub-code is called 'Length', again a tick-box option with information about length in 'info'. When I run reports, only the 'length' information shows up in the table. How can I get the information entered for 'intervention' to show up?

Hello Kristin,

I believe you will need to pull in the levels above where the codes lie (the Intervention code and the Length code) into your report. If 'Intervention' is the first level below the codeset, you should be able to pull the codeset in the column and then pull in the the level below that (Intervention).

You will then get information from both codes being displayed.

Be sure you have set the report type as 'multiple'.

You're right, if I select the whole code set 'data extraction: research study' to be a column in my report, then the information on 'intervention' does come up. It's not ideal though, because then I have a lot of other information that I subsequently need to delete from that column (basically all data extraction information).

I tried to select the whole code set as a column, then drag only the 'intervention' code underneath, but then again, only information on 'length' came up.

I think it would be great if I could select a column for the code 'intervention' and then all information entered under this code came up in that column. As it is, it seems like sub-codes come up, but not information entered on the code itself.
