Hi there,

I lost Internet connection while working with Eppi. After logging in again, I can't find several child codes. I already checked all other code sets and there are nowhere to be found.

Is there a possibility to retrieve them (today)? As my account expires today, it is quite unfortunate.

Thanks for the help!

Hello Cita,

Apologies for the slow reply. Your questions must have slipped past me.

It is unlikely that the codes would have disappeared. They need to be explicitly deleted to be removed from the database. The most likely explanation is that they have either slid into a different part of the coding tool or that they weren't visible on your screen at that time but once you reload the review you will see them again.

If they cannot be found please let us know.

Best regards,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

thanks for your answer. I checked all the other variables and I couldn't find the three missing child codes. And I really don't know what happened to them, as they were missing after the short period without internet connection.

It would be such a great help if there is a way to retrieve them.

Best wishes

Cita

Dear Cita,

Can you let us know what the names of the missing child codes were, and - if possible - their parent codesets / codes? This may help us locate any missing codes.

I have contacted you by email to the address associated with your EPPI Reviewer account, with full details of the codes we can see in your review. As far as we can tell, the review seems to be working OK, but we can take a further look once we have details of what is missing. (Our general EPPI support email address is EPPISupport@ucl.ac.uk.)

Kind regards,

Zak Ghouze
