Dear Louise,
I'm assuming you are referring to review ID #14348... However, I looked under the Collaborate tab, and found three coding assignments, but they didn't seem to correspond to 1 person being allocated all 4418 items, and the other two being allocated 2209 items each...
Note that you can delete existing coding assignments, without deleting the underlying coding information users have entered in to the program. Thus you could reallocate the work (giving some of one person's to another person) without disrupting the work either are doing.
You could create a new code to track the items yet to be done by the person who is still working through double-screening half the references... (If you click on any number in the items shown under the Collaborate tab i.e. any of the values for Allocated, Started, or Remaining, you will be shown a list of those items. Click on Remaining for the person yet to complete their work, select all the items displayed by clicking the checkbox at the top of the list, and then right-click on your new code and select "Assign selected items to this code.")
You could then use the new code to randomly allocate these remaining items between 4 groups. Then either assign 3 groups to one of your colleagues for screening, and 1 group to the other colleague. (Or just select the relevant percentages you wish to allocate...) Alternatively, combine 3 of the groups in to one large group and assign that to one colleague, leaving the other smaller group to assign to your other colleague.)
Hope that all makes sense, but do let us know if you require any further clarification or assistance.
Kind regards,
Zak Ghouze, EPPISupport@ucl.ac.uk
