I have allocated two reviewers as the administrator.  However, I did not set up the comparison data entry property until AFTER the first reviewer had finished all codes.

Now, I have changed the property to comparison data and see the two people beside that code set.

Reviewer 2 can see all the work of Reviewer 1 and thinks that each time they are changing a code - it is writing over Reviewer 1 code.

They have logged in to coding only screen - however, i have noticed on the screen shot they sent that there is no "Locked" icon on the top left.

1. Is reviewer 2 actually rewriting the work of reviewer 1, or is just that they can see reviewer 1 selections because that portion was done in the NORMAL single entry setting, rather than the COMPARISON entry setting.

2. Also on the coding record tab, Reviewer 2 can see my name and Allocations, as well as Reviewer 1.  I have set this person as coding only - so what is going on?  How do i fix this?

We have watched the videos, and have been unable to fix problem.

Hello Amanda,

Changing a codeset to comparison coding will not change the status of the coding that already took place. If that coding was already marked as ‘complete’ before the change it will still be ‘complete’ after the change. The change will only affect the subsequent coding.
If you wish to double screen the already completed coding you will need to change it to ‘not complete. This can be done in ‘Review statistics’ tab.

I had a look at your review and can see that it is Samantha that has already competed her coding. If you click on the red ‘no entry’ sign next to Samantha’s name (in the 'Review statistics' tab) it will mark those 2166 items as ‘not complete’ with respect to the ‘Screen on Title and abstract’ codeset. Once you have done that Stephen and Amanda won’t see Samantha’s coding when they move through the 2159 items allocated to them.

Once everyone has finished their coding you will be able to create a comparison to identify your agreements and disagreements.

Best regards,

Jeff
