Exception Message Details Value An error occurred while trying to make a request to URI '{0}'. This could be due to attempting to access a service in a cross-domain way without a proper cross-domain policy in place, or a policy that is unsuitable for SOAP services. You may need to contact the owner of the service to publish a cross-domain policy file and to ensure it allows SOAP-related HTTP headers to be sent. Please see the inner exception for more details. Resource ID CrossDomainError DLL System.ServiceModel.dll Version 5.1.41212.00 This webpage provides developers with Silverlight exception message text, which can be useful in diagnosing failures and problems with Silverlight applications. Some exception strings contain tokens for additional information produced by your application. To see these descriptive error messages on your local machine and obtain other debugging resources, please install the latest version of Silverlight for Developers on your Windows or Mac computer.

Hello Sally,

This sounds like you are trying to access EPPI-Reviewer using the url https://eppi.ioe.ac.uk/eppireviewer4/ rather than http://eppi.ioe.ac.uk/eppireviewer4/.

The first is https while the one you want is http (without the 's'). Could you try the second url and let us know if you are having the same issues.

Best regards,

Jeff

How did that happen?? You're right Jeff, sorted now. I think if you go via google it gives you the https one.

Thank You!

Back to it then!!

Hello Sally,

Google has started arbitrarily changing their search results to https. If you run a search in Google you will no longer see any http results, it is always https. I don't know the reason they are doing this but it can cause problems for sites that are just http.

Best regards,

Jeff
