New Outcomes Type

Hi,

The data we want to extract for our current review are mostly Odds or Hazards Ratios with 95% CIs. With the current types of numeric data on the "Edit/Create Outcome" screen, I can manually enter the OR using manual entry (but not the CIs), calculate ORs using the 2 x 2 table and data from the study (which gives a different result to the paper) or enter CIs under the "N, mean, CI" option.

Is it possible to add another type of data so I can enter the OR/HR and 95% CIs as quoted in the studies? I guess I could do this using the text outcomes box but would rather enter the numeric data "properly".

Hi Jeff,

are there any possibilities to create new outcome types?

If not, I strongly support Andy's suggestion as I have a similar problem. In the studies I am reviewing far more outcome types such as population attributable risk, Index of dissimilarity, slope index of inequality etc.. I would welcome it a lot of it would be possible to crearte outcome type oneself.
