I'm try to determine if we can use EppiReviewer 4, but I'm having difficultly with importing a reference file from our library. I've cut and pasted the text of two references below. I used the RIS export tool and uploaded to that. Used 'TY' and 'ER' as start and stop. Selected a filter - that when I looked at it on the export tool seemed to convert everything. But when I uploaded the exported file to EppiReviewer, parts of the reference were missing. For example, the author showed up in the export tool, but was just a semicolon when uploaded. Any ideas?

Hello Pam,

The two references that you have pasted into your message are already in RIS format so you can import them directly as they are into EPPI-Reviewer. I just tried this by cutting and pasting them into a file and importing that file. The references appear to have imported correctly including the authors being in the author field.

Or perhaps I am misunderstanding your question?

Best regards,

Jeff

Ahhh - ok. That means the file I download from my catalogue doesn't need any filtering to put into EppiReviewer. I was trying to filter it through the RIS export tool and that wasn't working, but I've just uploaded the file straight from my catalogue and that worked fine. I'll let our library know so they can add it to their list of where the file can be exported to...

Thanks!
