 Hello,

We are currently double-coding all documents in our review. However, documents that have been coded by both researchers are still showing incomplete. That is, they have the red icon next to the codeset when we are in the documents details frame. I can't figure out why they would still be identified as incomplete. Any suggestions?

Hello Courtney,

The items will remain marked as 'not complete' until you manually 'complete' them. If two (or more) people have coded the same item, that items coding will need to be compared to see if there is agreement or disagreement before marking it as 'complete'. Normally you will first mark the agreements as 'complete' and then reconcile the disagreements before marking those items as 'complete'.

There are various ways to 'complete' an item. If you have created work assignments in the Collarborate tab, you can create comparisons of those work assignments to identify the agreements and disagreements. Stats 'View' (in the comparison table) allows you to bulk 'complete' the agreements and retrieve the disagreements for reconciliation. Assuming you will be reconciling the disagreement in the 'Document details' window, you can right click the codeset and change its 'complete' status in the properties window.

If would suggest having a look at the Screening Part 1 and Part 2 videos that you will find on our YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/eppireviewer4).

Best regards,

Jeff
