I'm trying to run a report of my outcomes including the outcomes entered in tables for meta-analysis purposes. However, the reports do not include this data. This data is only availible when I go to run meta-analysis but that that too not in raw form. Is there a way to export the following data (as entered i.e. raw data and not just OR or SD) for each study in a report?:

Hello Naira

There are a few ways to see the raw outcome data that you have entered.

The easiest is to generate a Coding report. This includes all reference information and as much coding data as you choose to include. To generate this report you should select the items to include and then click on the ‘Coding report’ icon.
You can then select the coding tools that you want to see the coding from. If you wish to have the data in a file make sure the ‘Export Results as JSON text file’ is selected and then click ‘Get reports’. This will generate a JSON file that will include all of the reference and coding that has taken place. It will show your raw outcome data and calculated data. JSON is a very common format but there are also many free JSON to XML conversion tools available if you prefer XML.
If you don’t select the ‘Export Results as JSON text file’ the report will be displayed in the ‘Report viewer’.
In the report viewer you can save the report as text, Word or html. If you save the report as html you can then open it in excel. This will allow you to then save it as an excel file or even a csv file.

Another way to generate the a report of your outcome data is to create a configurable report in the ‘Reports’ tab. A configurable report allows you to select particular parts of a coding tool (or tools) and choose which elements of your coding (code selection, info box text, ‘line-by-line coding) you want to see. The report is then displayed in the ‘Report viewer’ so you have all of the normal methods of saving the report (as described earlier).
To display the outcome data you need to set up an ‘Answer’ report. In each column you will want to drag in teh code that holds your outcome data. If you then run that report against an item that has outcome data you will see the outcome data you have entered in the report.
You can find details for running a configurable report in the user manual under ‘Configurable reports’ (Pg 85).

If you have any questions about this please let us know.

Best regards,
Jeff
