Just to reassure, you will not lose your existing coding information. A reference that has already been imported into your review will retain any coding or comments you have added to it. The newly imported items will just be added to your list of references in the review (and will obviously not yet have any coding or comments attached to them).

Each batch of items you import will be listed separately in the Sources tab on the right-hand side of the EPPI Reviewer screen. You can add, list, and delete imported reference sources here - as well as via the Import icon along the top menu bar.
