Editing the codeset midway

We have screened a small number of results to test our reliability, and have decided to delete one of the screening criterion. When I go to delete it, the dialogue box says "this will affect X number of documents coded". It doesn't tell me HOW those documents will be effected - will the code just be removed? with the items then be automatically moved from "started" to "remaining"?

Also, if I delete the code, I presume it would then be deleted from everyone who shares that review?

Hi, Sherri.

The message "this will affect X number of documents coded" is referring to the fact that the code will be removed from those documents i.e. you have applied to a code to those documents, but this information will now be lost as the code is being deleted.

Nothing else will change, though obviously the change will be reflected in the coding record / completion.
