Comparions are normally done between two different reviewers using a codeset that is set for multiple data entry.

To run a comparison between two reviewers in the Collaborate tab you should first set up the coding assignments. Once the coding assignments are set up the system will keep track of each coder in the assignment.  When you run a comparison it would make sense to run it on one of the work assignments to help keep track of that assignment.

As described in the user manual you can then run a 'Quick report' that will show how each item was coded by each reviewer in the assignment or 'View stats' where you can mark all of the agreements as complete and reconcile the disagreements.

When you say that nothing happened when you ran the comparison, were you comparing an existing work assignment?
