Hello Monali,
There are a couple of things going on here.
Of the 123 items allocated, 122 of them are already marked as 'complete' by Francie. If you click in the 'Review statistics' tab (bottom right hand side of the screen) and expand 'Screen by title and abstract' in the 'Completed coding' table you can see this.
Is it possible that Francie coded her items before the codeset was set for multiple data entry? This would explain why they are all marked as 'complete'. When the codeset is set for single data entry the items are marked as 'complete' as soon as a code is applied. If you then change the codeset to multiple data entry afterward, the items will be still be marked as 'complete'. Another possibility is that Francie (or someone else) marked all of her coding as 'complete' in the Review statistics tab.
If I run a quick report in the collaborate tab I can see that Alex has coded 123 documents. They are not showing up in the 'view' stats as the items have already been marked as ‘complete’ by Francie.
What you can do is 'uncomplete' the items that Francie has completed. This can be done in the 'Review statistics' tab. If you expand 'Screen by title and abstract' in the 'Completed coding' table you can see Francie's name with 122 next to it. If you click on the red disc labelled 'Set coding to uncomplete' the 122 items will be marked as 'uncomplete'. The codings for both Alex and Francie will appear in the ‘Incomplete coding’ table (below the 'Completed coding' table ). If you now run a new 'Create comparison' in the Collaborate tab and you 'View' stats both sets of codings will show up.
There is also a second issue that you will encounter. When you run a quick report in the Collaborate tab the system will look down one level in the coding tool to compare the coding. Since you have 3 levels in your screening tool you will need to run quick reports for each question in your screening tool. For example, when you run a ‘quick report’ the 'Quick comparison report' window appears. This window prompts you select the code or codeset to compare. You will need to select one of your questions for the answers below it to make up the report.
A way to view all of your screening codes in the same report is to have all of your screening codes at the same level. We do this by having each code as an include or exclusion criteria. Then, when we run a report we can see all of the screening codes in the same report. EPPI-Reviewer 4 is flexible enough to allow you to work either way.
Best regards,
Jeff
