 Hello,

First, I would like to thank you for always being so timely in your responses to my questions- it is of great help and really appreciated!

We have 3 exisiting reviews (5027, 4960, 5028) where we have updated the search and have added new abstracts to review.

I am struggling with how to have these included in the Coding Assignments and Review Statistics. I have tried setting the coding to incomplete, but this has not changed it.

Could you please advise me on how to ensure these are included?

Thank you,

Kirsten Fiest

Hello Kirsten,

When updating a review in EPPI-Reviewer I would deal with the new references separately with respect to creating coding assignments rather than trying to include them in existing assignments.

You could have an administration codeset with codes to identify the new items. Once they are easily identifiable you can then create new allocation codes and new coding assignments that only contained the new items. This would avoid the issue of having to make any changes to any of your existing coding (such as marking them all as 'not complete').

There is a danger in marking all of your previous items as 'not complete' because if those items were double screened/coded you will not know which reviewers coding was the agreed version when you return them to 'complete'.

Best regards,

Jeff
