I have tried to generate a report using both codes which have children and those with don't. When I drag codes without children into a report column, they don't 'stick' - what am I doing wrong?

Hello Rachel,

If you are dragging in codes without children then you will need to have your report type set to 'Answer'. There is a dropdown menu next to the report title where you can change the report type.

There are two types of report. 'Question' reports summarise all the answers given below a specified code / code set. Dragging the question into a column would result in all the answers to that question being presented in the report. These reports can have multiple 'questions' per column. 'Answer' reports contain one answer (code) per column and can also contain information about outcomes.
