Dear Eppi team,

This seems like a basic function but I can't work out how to do it. I have screened a number of articles on title and abstract and know that there are 13 results. How do I see these results in a list?

Also, how do I bring up all the references that require screening on title and abstract from a certain source? e.g. if I did half of the screening from a particular database last time and want to come back and complete it.

Thanks,
Amy

Hello Any,

I had a look at your review as I wasn't sure what you meant by 13 results. I can see that there are 13 items that have been assigned your 'INCLUDE on title & abstract' code so I will assume that is what you mean.

If you want to quickly see a breakdown of your screening you can run a frequency report on the 'SHCN Screen on Title & Abstract'. You can also right click the codeset and select 'Display included item frequencies'. From the frequency report you can pull up the 13 items with the  'INCLUDE on title & abstract' code. An easier to get the items is to right-click the  'INCLUDE on title & abstract' code and select 'List items with this code'.

To keep track of what items you have screened and not screened you should create a coding assignment in the 'Collaborate' tab. Once a coding assignment is set up the program will keep track of where you left off. If you want to screen based on source you can create a coding assignment that is limited to a particular source. I would create a 'source' code for each source and then assign the appropriate code to all of the items in that source. You would then use that 'source' code when setting up your coding assignment.

Best regards,

Jeff
