The EIPPEE Network developed out of a European Commission funded collaborative project involving 36 partners from 23 different countries across Europe, and a further seven organisations from four countries outside Europe that joined the project as international affiliates. It was led by a central team based at the EPPI Centre, Institute of Education. The project built on an earlier European Commission funded project, EIPEE, which aimed to identify the nature and range of activities linking research evidence and policy-making in education in Europe and develop further capacity and awareness on this issue. It also built upon previous work in this area funded by the European Commission and the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI), which is part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), among others.
The partner group determined the strategy and planned project activity. These partners are listed below.
Others interested in the use of evidence were able to become members of the EIPPEE Network. To join them register here.
