Introduction

The Preterm Birth Priority Setting Partnership is part of a programme of research funded by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR)
called ‘Improving quality of care and outcome at very preterm birth’.
The Partnership is being convened by the Social Research Science Unit (SSRU) at the Institute of Education, University of London in collaboration with the James Lind Alliance.
Purpose
We would like to work with service users and clinicians to decide which uncertainties about treatments most urgently need evaluating, and which outcomes are most important for evaluating care at the time of preterm birth. For more information, please e-mail to s.uhm@ioe.ac.uk
The James Lind Alliance

Preterm Birth is working with the James Lind Alliance (JLA). JLA is a non-profit making initiative which was established in 2004. It brings patients, carers and clinicians together to identify and prioritise uncertainties, or 'unanswered questions', about the effects of treatments that they agree are most important.
This information will help ensure that those who fund health research are aware of what matters to both patients and clinicians.
The JLA is part of the James Lind Initiative and is principally funded by the National Institute for Health Research and the Medical Research Council.
