Welcome to the Living Evidence Synthesis Toolkit Living Map of Methods & Guidance.

This living map contains methods and guidance articles about living evidence synthesis (LES), organised by 'LES Types' and 'Version'. The current beta version of the map (Version 1 - Up to June 2025) contains methods and guidance articles about living systematic reviews and living evidence maps only, up to 30th June 2025.

For this beta version of the living map, articles were identified by one experienced researcher, who selected relevant articles from among the results of simple keyword searches of openalex.org up for:

• "living systematic review" in the Title field

• "living evidence map" OR "living map" OR "living systematic map" in the Title or Abstract field

Methods for continually identifying studies for this living map are expected to evolve over future versions. Provisionally, we will aim to update this living map once every quarter (i.e. four updates each year, at the end of June, September, December and March).
