This map explores primary care interventions presented across different health conditions. It is clear from this map that some health conditions, such as diabetes and cancer, have been the subjects of many studies on interventions and their effect on disadvantaged groups. The evidence contained within these studies can drive equity-focused interventions. There are gaps in the evidence for what works to address inequalities in other health conditions, such as respiratory disease and gastrointestinal conditions. Further research is needed in these areas if we are to design evidence-based, and equity-focused, primary care interventions.
