This map explores what works in primary care to address inequalities across disadvantaged groups and a range of health conditions. There is a large amount of evidence to inform policymakers and practitioners on what works to address inequalities for some conditions and for some groups, eg reducing inequalities in diabetes outcomes for ethnic minorities. However for other health conditions, such as respiratory disease, there is an urgent need for evidence on what works to address inequalities in primary care. It is worth noting that even for some areas where there appears to be a large amount of evidence, such as diabetes in ethnic minority groups, some ethnic groups, such as Latino/Hispanic, have been studied more than others, such as Asian groups.
