This map explores articles published across the Core20PLUS5 (adults) categories as part of the NHS England approach to tackling health inequalities. This map highlights the under-representation in research evidence of the ‘Plus’ (inclusion health groups), relative to the ‘Core20’ (most deprived 20%). There is a wealth of evidence here to inform what works to address inequalities in cancer diagnosis, but far less on what works to improve the outcomes for chronic respiratory disease in disadvantaged groups.
