Hello, I am having some difficulty with the coding. Some codes have been set up and I have been applying them to the documents. However when I try and create a frequency list, none of the coded items are reflected.  Not sure what I am doing wrong?  Many thanks, Elinor

Hello Elinor,

The most likely reason that your coding is not showing up in your frequency report is that the codes applied have not yet been 'completed'. If the codeset containing the codes you are running the frequency report against is set for multiple data entry then you will need to manually complete those items. A quick way to check if your have 'incomplete' items is by looking in the 'Review statistics' tab and seeing if there are 'incomplete' items listed in the 'incomplete' table. You can either manually complete those items in the 'Document details' window or you can bulk complete the items in the 'Review statistics' tab by clicking on the green check next to a name. The thing to be aware of when you mark an item's coding as complete is that the coding of the person who completes the item (or the name that you select if bulk completing) becomes the completed coding.

The other reason that coding might not show up in a frequency report is that you can restrict the report to items that have either the (I) flag or (E) flag assigned to them. If your items have the (E) flag assigned to them and you restrict the report to items with the (I) flag then nothing will show up. By default, all items have the (I) flag assigned when imported into your review.

Best regards,

Jeff
