Thank you Iordan,
I hope you will like the new arrangement of the "List" and "Delete/undelete" buttons in the Sources tabs.
I see what you mean about the filter, at present you can get the result you want, but only in a rather convoluted way. The trick is to use the Search mechanism (Search tab). Since you can’t run a search on a source, a few steps are required:
1) from the sources tab click “list” on the source you want to use
2) create a new (selectable) code and give it the same name of the source or some other meaningful name for you
3) select all items in the list, right click the code from 2) and select “assign selected items to this code”.
3b) if your source had more than 700 documents, repeat the process for each page in the list.
4) on the search page, create a new search for items with the code you’ve created in 2)
5) create another search for items coded with the code you are interested in.
6) create a third search combining 4) and 5), literally: you should use the “AND” operator.
In this way the final search will list all items that belong to both the source and code of choice. The problem here is that searches are static: they take a snapshot of the current state of the review and do not change as your coding proceeds; the net result is that if you’ll want to get updated results at a second time you will need to repeat steps 5) & 6) once more. If you don’t need to retain historic data, there is no reason to keep old outdated searches, I like to encourage users to delete old unneeded searches to prevent their search list from growing too long.
My conclusion is that the process above is unnecessarily complex, we will see if/when we’ll be able to add an ad hoc system to cover this scenario in a more straightforward way. I can’t promise this will be included in the next update because it is moderately difficult to implement (or more precisely, not 100% straightforward) and I am currently busy with two major projects that are clearly more important to complete (FYI, the two projects are: the online payment system and permissions control for shared reviews).
Thanks for your feedback!
