Hello,

It may be the way I have Silverlight set up on my computer but I am unable to copy and paste either into or from Eppi-R4. The 'Edit' menu on the Internet Explorer bar does not offer copy or paste and right clicking on my mouse produces only a 'Silverlight' option. Can you please advise? This facility would save time enormously!

Thanks,

Tim

Hi Tim,
In EPPI-Reviewer 4, you can always copy and paste using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V (Command+C and Command+V for Mac users).

The browser 'Edit' menu will not help because the browser 'sees' a Silverlight application only, and has no knowledge of what happens therein.
Similarly, Silverlight has a known issue with right clicks, by default only the (pretty useless) 'Silverlight' menu will show, this default behaviour has to be overridden explicitly each time we want to enable some real functionality via the right-click. For this reason we've decided, as a general approach, not to try and identify all fields that users might want to 'copy' and we suggest using the (faster?) keyboard shortcuts instead.

Please do let us know if you've identified a place or activity where the right click route would offer a significant improvement.

Best wishes,
Sergio
