Hello,

I want to create an EGM. Therefore, I have assigned different interventions and outcomes in the eppi reviewer. When I am in the editing part for the coding tools, these are marked as interventions. When I am screening the different texts, I have the coding tools on the left hand side of the window and can tick the different codes, here they are marked as outcomes, eventhough, I assigned them as interventions. Do you have any idea, how I can make sure they are interventions?

Hi Theresa,

Thanks for reaching out :-)

The outcomes button appears for all the code types that will then allow you to create numeric outcomes (that is: outcome, intervention and comparison types). However, these are really only used for effect size calculation. If you don't need this for another part of your review, and are only creating an EGM, you can just have the codes as 'selectable' rather than specifically as 'intervention' or 'outcome'.
