Version 4.3.4.2 is mostly a bug-fixing release. The main new feature required quite a lot of changes under the hood, somewhat limiting our hope to introduce more improvements.

New Features:

In the main "Documents" screen, "Get coding report(s) for selected Item(s)" and in "Item Details" window, "Coding Record" Tab, "View" button:
1) The text applied to single codes in the reports will now be included in the report, this applies also to "Coding Comparisons" in the "Coding Record" tab.
2) Codes that appear in the report only because they are the parent of codes that belong to the current item now are shown in grey. Before this change they looked as all the others, so it was not possible to know if the item belonged to this kind of codes or not.
3) The Outcomes table now shows also "Outcome Classifications"; previously this information was only reportable through the fully configurable reports.
4) In “find more document like this” dialog (main "Documents" screen), we used to have two options (for term extraction): “current document” and “all items listed”. "Current document" was confusing in case people selected more than one item. It was even more confusing because if there was no item selected the system would automatically (and without warning) search “all items listed”. We changed this so that the options now are: “selected item(s)” and “all items listed”, users can therefore extract terms from more than one selected item (arbitrary selection of more than one item in the list is now possible). Appropriate errors will be shown if there are no items selected (or listed).

Bug fixes:

Pubmed direct import: this was broken for most imports and is now fixed. The bug actually resides on PubMed side of things, we found a workaround and informed NCBI, they were kind enough to let us know that they are working on the definitive fix on their side.

The ordering of forest plots didn’t work for the “effect size (ascending)” option.

We recently got a new string of PDFs that wouldn’t upload. More precisely, they did upload, but the extracted text contained some confusing elements that produced an error on the client side, preventing the list of documents from loading. This is now fixed.

In “create new Meta Analysis” window, the filter for “outcome classification”  wasn't working, this is now fixed.

A bug was affecting the "Item Details" (coding) window when adding codes over a slow internet connection: if the user added a code and quickly clicked "next", the code-tree got disabled while applying the code-addition, but when it got re-enabled, it could still apply to the previous item. This is now fixed.

In the main "Documents" screen, "Get coding report(s) for selected Item(s)" and in "Item Details" window, "Coding Record" Tab, "View" button: the reports were not showing a code for a given item if and when the code was of “non selectable” type, even if the item did have that code.

Locking Code sets (against editing): it was actually possible to circumvent the lock, although not accidentally. This is now fixed.

The URL link in Document Details wasn't working if the URL field didn't start with "http://" or "https://", this is now fixed.
