I am trying to use the 'export to RIS' function on the website to turn a text file of search results from the Centre for Reviews and Dissemination into an RIS formatted file to import into EPPI-Reviewer. Every time I click upload I get the message 'Internet expolrer cannot display the webpage'.  I don't know about the speed of the internet connection I have, but I don't normally have any problems. The file size is 976KB.

Dear Laura,

I've just tried the process myself, and it works for me. Maybe there is something wrong with the particular file you are using: can you send it to us at eppisupport? I'll see if I can figure out what is going wrong.

Hello Laura,

Thanks for sending the file.

I'm not sure why you were getting that message. I just tried uploading the file and it appears to have uploaded without any issues.

As for the file itself, there was a filter for it to convert it to RIS format. The only trick to it was to use TTL: as the start tag rather than the %%%%  characters.

I have converted it and sent you the the RIS file. It should upload into EPPI-Reviewer without any problems.

Hi,

I am having a similar problem with a text file of search results from the Zetoc database. Everytime I try to use the export to RIS function, I an error message. The file size is only 285K, and I am definitely using the right tags.
