Not able to download files in EPPI reviewer

Hi,

I am working in EPPI reviewer doing things such as full text screening, coding etc. This means that I am a dedicated user of the "download file" function. But this function does not seem to be working anymore - instead I get a page that says "this page cannot be displayed" instead of my full text article.

I have found out that changing the URL manually from http:// to https:// fixes the problem. But it does not seem to be a good solution in the long run.

Do you have any idea how of how to fix this? Is it a problem with my own computer/internet access, or is there a bug in the EPPI reviewer software?

Hi Julie,

Not sure why you get the "this page cannot be displayed" - security settings at your end preventing you downloading files via a non-secure address (http rather than https).

We find it works either way, but we will update the system to force the page to use https (secure protocol), as this will prevent the issue you are experiencing and will make our system more robust.
