Hello, I've just started and need to get used to the tool! My first quick question is 1) how do I delete a review and start afresh? 2) I've ended up with a load of duplicate codesets, some of which are locked and I can't get rid of them. How can I delete them? 3) I started using EPPI after I'd already done my screening and methods etc, so I have my 41 studies, which I have to screen again finally and then do data extraction on the final results. Will this mess up the flow on EPPI? Are the results of the data extraction downloadable and compatible with Word? Many thank for your help! Sally

Hello Sally,

Re: your questions...

1. We don't delete reviews. If you want to start fresh the easiest way is to create a new one. You can do this in the 'My info' tab.

2. You can unlock a codeset by editing the codesets properties and checking the 'Editing codeset allowed' option. Once the codeset is unlocked you can delete it.

3. Are all of your 41 students items that you are calling includes or do you mean it is a mixture of includes and excludes. If they are all includes you could just say that you are starting with 41 items that were screened externally. You could  then start data extraction on them.  EPPI-Reviewer doesn't restrict you to any flow so you can come in and out of the program at whatever stage you wish. EPPI-Reviewer is just a mechanism to help manage your systematic review.

If you are displaying your data extraction in a report it will be in the 'Report viewer'. From the report viewer you can save your results in Word, text or html. If you save it in html you can then open it in excel meaning you can also save it as an excel file.

Best regards,

Jeff
