Hi, I would like to convert my review from a non-shareable to a shareable review, to include my supervisor for a few months. Please could you clarify how I do this?

Thank you

Hello Beverley,

There is a fee associated with making a review shareable (£35 per month + VAT).

Does your supervisor need full access to your review or do you just want them to be able to see your work. If they just neeed to be able to log in and see your work (but not do any work themselves) I could put them in your review but keep the review expired. They would be restricted to read-only access but that might be enough (and there would not be any review fee)

If they need to have full access then you would need to purchase access. The easiest way to do this is through the online shop that can be found on the 'EPPI-Reviewer 4 gateway'.

Best regards,
Jeff

Hi Jeff

I am in the purchse part of my account. Highlighted in green is a box which states I can make the review sharable by adding credits, then I get the option to extend the review. Is extension the same as credits? My supervisor does not have an EPPI account so I assume I would need to create one?

Thanks

Bev

Thanks

Bev

Hi Bev,

Yes - that's correct. You can make a review shareable by extending it / adding credits on the purchase page, adjacent to the green-highlighted message e.g. 3 months extension for £105 (£35 per month times by 3) will make the review shareable so multiple users can access the review for this period. You can always add further extensions (or credits) in the future, if necessary.

You are also correct in that a review can only be shared by other EPPI Reviewer users i.e. anyone you wish to collaborate with on a shared review will have to create an account on EPPI Reviewer. (One month's usage is allowed free when the account is set up. After this period, the user will have to extend or credit their own account at a cost of £10 per month.)

Once they have created their account, you can give them access to the shared review by clicking the "edit" link adjacent to the review (in the account manager). Then click "send invitation" and enter the user's email address in the box that appears. They will receive an email informing them that they now have access to the review.

Hope that helps, but do let us know if you need any further information.

Kind regards,

Zak

Hi Zak

That all worked, thanks.

However, the review appears three times on my account and on my supervisors account. To avoid any errors can this be changed please - he hasnt coded yet. When I tried to remove a line, all three reviews disappeared.

Thanks

Bev

Hi Bev,

Any chance you could email us a screenshot (to EPPISupport@ucl.ac.uk)?

I've checked the review and your account, but all seems OK from our end... We only see the shared review listed once.

Cheers,

Zak
