Hello Margaret,

You can only invite someone into a 'shareable' review. I just had a quick look at your account details and it appears that all of your reviews are non-shareable (meaning that only one person can be in them; the person that created the review).

If you wanted to make one of your reviews shareable then you would need to purchase access. The fees for shareable reviews are described on the 'About our fees' page that you can find on the 'EPPI-Reviewer 4 gateway'. A shareable review is £35 per month (+20% VAT for all European based purchases). The easiest way to purchase access is through the online shop that you can find on the gateway.

If you think that you should have access (based on a purchase already made or a project that is suppose to have EPPI-Reviewer access) please let me know and I can look into it.

Best regards,

Jeff

Hello Margaret,

I found your purchase in the system. It was a 3 month extension to your user account but not for a shareable review.

If you wanted to make your review shareable you can do so in the online shop that you can find the 'EPPI-Reviewer 4 gateway'. Since you are the owner of that review you will see the review listed when you are in the shop. You just need to select the number of months you wish it to be shareable and then proceed to the checkout.

If you have any questions about this please let me know.

Best regards,

Jeff

Hello Margaret,

That information is covered in the 'Inviting a user into your review' video that you can find on our YouTube channel.  I can also explain it here as well.

You can invite other reviewers into your review in the ‘EPPI-Reviewer 4 account and review manager’ that you can find on the ‘EPPI-Reviewer 4 gateway’ (http://eppi.ioe.ac.uk/cms/er4). When you log into the account manager you will find yourself on the ‘Summary’ page where you can click ‘Edit’ for your review. You can then click ‘Send invitation’, enter the other reviewers account email address and click ‘Invite’. They will need to have an EPPI-Reviewer account before you can invite them into your review.

Best regards,

Jeff

Hi Jeff

Thanks I have this sorted now and have invited KathyAnn in.

Now I am trying to set up a coding assignmnet

I have followed u tube video, set up allocation as a code and another child code, items for KAF, selecting items, and create new in collaborate tab and so on but each time I try this the coding assignmnet shows with no items allocated. So I cannot figure out what I doing wrong

Hello Margaret,

I just had a quick look at your review. The issue is that you have set your 'Allocation' codeset for comparison (double) coding. You will be double coding using your screening codeset so that is the only codeset that should be set for 'comparison' coding (at this stage). The Allocation codeset is just there to identify the items that are in your coding assignment.

Because the 'Allocation' codeset is set for 'comparison' coding assigning any codes from that codeset will leave the coding as 'uncomplete' This includes the 'Items for KAF' code so that is why you are not seeing it in the coding assignment. What you need to do is change that codeset back to normal coding and then mark the items with the 'Items for KAF' code as complete. You can mark those items as complete in the 'Review statistics' tab. If you look in that tab you will see 257 in the incomplete table. If you expand that row you will see your name with 257 next to it. If you then click on the green checkmark next to your name you will be able to mark those 257 items as 'complete' (with respect to the 'Allocation' codeset). Once you have done that you will see 257 items allocated in the coding assignment.

Best regards,

Jeff
