Unit seminars are usually held at lunchtime on the first Wednesday of each month. This forum gives unit staff an opportunity to learn about the project work of other SSRU colleagues and to discuss broader issues of research work. Members of the Unit are expected to attend to support their colleagues and to learn about and contribute to the Unit's research programme. A list of forthcoming seminars is on the SSRU internal website.

The Unit administrators put all seminars on the internal website and promotes all ‘open’ seminars.

Any staff members interested in developing a theme for a set of seminars, or would like to take part in one, should contact the Assistant Directors.
