Membership
of the UPC is the Unit Director, Assistant Director, Deputy Director, Unit Manager,
and 3 to 4 other members of staff elected to broadly represent the different
streams of work in the Unit. Elected members serve for one year. The current
method of representation of staff is by proposal and secondment of representatives
from each of the following streams, and then agreeing membership at a Unit Meeting.
Where more than one member is proposed, the post may be shared, alternating
attendance at each meeting.
